Executive Chairman of the Board
Darryl Keeler is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Tech Systems, Inc. (TSi), bringing more than three decades of industry leadership, operational excellence, and culture stewardship to the organization. Darryl joined TSi on May 31, 1989, and soon became its principal owner and President, guiding the company through transformational growth that established TSi as one of the most trusted security systems integrators in the country.
Under Darryl’s direction, TSi evolved from a small local integrator in Atlanta into a national enterprise with more than 300 employee-owners and a reputation for fanatical customer service. He drove the creation of TSi’s F.O.C.U.S. (For Our Clients’ Ultimate Satisfaction) service model and helped introduce guaranteed functionality as a core promise to clients. His leadership philosophy emphasizes empowerment, shared ownership, and a commitment to doing the right thing in every customer interaction.
As CEO, Darryl worked closely with the executive management team to establish long-range goals, strategies, and operational systems that supported TSi’s growth and strengthened its internal infrastructure. He mentored employees as owners, developed scalable processes, and ensured that TSi’s mission and core values were consistently put into practice across the organization.
Throughout his tenure, Darryl championed TSi’s commitment to quality, information security, and responsible innovation. He guided the company to achieve ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications, which reinforced TSi’s ability to deliver consistent, high-quality services while protecting client data with rigorous cybersecurity standards. In June of 2025, TSi also achieved ISO 42001 for AI management, a milestone that demonstrated the company’s dedication to keeping pace with the industry’s rapid evolution in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
In 2015, Darryl made one of the most defining decisions in the company’s history when he sold 100 percent of the company to its employees. This transition created a 100 percent employee-owned ESOP that provided long-term stability for clients and secured a strong future for the organization. The decision also reinforced the entrepreneurial spirit and fanatical customer service model that Darryl had cultivated from the very beginning.
Before joining TSi, Darryl spent six years in sales and marketing roles with Fortel, a manufacturer of broadcast video hardware. He also served as General Manager for Technical Industries from 1989 to 1990.
Now serving as Executive Chairman of the Board, Darryl continues to shape TSi’s long-term strategic vision, oversee board governance, support the Evergreen model, and mentor the next generation of leaders. His influence remains deeply rooted in TSi’s culture and his guidance ensures that employee ownership, innovation, and reliable service remain at the center of the company’s future.
Darryl currently serves on the Board of Directors for the PSA Security Network.
